At Operation Meraki, our leadership team is united by a shared commitment: to walk alongside veterans and their families as they transition from service to stability. Our team brings lived experience, diverse expertise, and relentless dedication to every program, partnership, and life we touch.

A veteran and visionary, Michael launched Operation Meraki to meet veterans’ real needs through meaningful support and innovative care models. His leadership drives our mission forward, one story, one connection, one transformed life at a time.

Eveonda Thomas is the Board President of Operation Meraki and holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. She provides strategic oversight and leadership, ensuring the organization remains focused, accountable, and positioned to deliver meaningful impact for veterans and their families.

Nikkia brings structure, insight, and a keen eye for detail to her role as Board Secretary. She ensures our governance remains transparent and accountable while supporting alignment between our board’s strategic decisions and the mission.

Tetiana Tarasova is a financial advisory consultant with Deloitte and former audit professional with Ernst & Young. She serves as Treasurer for Operation Meraki, providing financial oversight and helping ensure transparency and responsible stewardship of the organization’s resources.

As Operation Meraki’s Veterans Services Coordinator, Mason is a 16 year service member and active Noncommissioned Officer who leads from the front. He is committed to supporting fellow service members and veterans by building real connections and driving access to critical resources. Mason takes pride in strengthening networks that ensure no veteran is left navigating their journey alone.

A strategic mind with a passion for service, Nathan ensures our systems support our growth. From infrastructure to innovation, he leads with precision and heart.

With nearly five years of continuous service, Shelli is the heartbeat of our day-to-day operations. She ensures that every volunteer, program, and initiative remains aligned with our values of compassion, community, and integrity.

SFC Retired, US Army Jane Babcock is an Army veteran and a retired County Veterans Service Officer with over 20 years of experience assisting veterans and their families in navigating VA benefits. At Operation Meraki, she helps veterans understand their healthcare, pensions, disability compensation, survivor benefits, and wartime pension benefits.
